Why Choose Running?

Physicians in the United States routinely prescribe cardio-vascular exercise. For some people, this means walking; but for others, walking just isn’t enough, so they choose to run instead. Running builds endurance and conditions those who wish to race competitively.  For the same amount of time spent, running burns more calories than walking does.

Running is a high-impact sport. The heart, lungs, feet, and joints get a greater workout from running.  It is important to talk to your doctor before starting an exercise routine that includes running.
